MASSIVE changes for our 2025 season!
- New coaching structure: We will no longer be utilizing volunteer high school coaches, instead we have hired a select few amazing coaches that we've worked with in the past, are highly skilled, loved by athletes, and have developed great relationships with parents. By bringing in these dedicated coaches to run multiple teams, we aim to ensure that all our teams are more aligned and cohesive, strengthening our UVCheer family as a whole. We will also have hired assistant coaches (for larger teams) that have cheer background and have been vetted. We are keeping our amazing mom coaches this year. They help tie the team together and keep everyone on the same page!
- Free activities for all to attend: In July we will be participating in the 4th of July Parade. In August we will have our big Showtime Performance. In September we will have 2 events: Our yearly skating rink party along with a team bonding open gym party! We welcome all our athletes to attend these events, free of charge!
- Increased unity and structure throughout the entire program, making sure each team receives the same amount of help, knowledge, and growth.
- Mandatory Parent Zoom Meeting: To ensure a smooth and successful season, we'll be holding a mandatory Zoom meeting for all parents before the season begins. During the meeting, we'll go over expectations for athletes, coaches, and mom coaches, as well as clarify what to expect from the program itself. We want to make sure everyone is on the same page to set ourselves up for a positive and organized season!

ABOUT US |
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to instilling the values of hard work, dedication, safety, support, and spirit in young individuals. We welcome 3rd-8th graders of all skill levels to join our teams! Our overarching goal is to shape our cheerleaders not only into exceptional athletes but also outstanding individuals.
Central to our mission is focusing on the children learning valuable skills, fostering a team environment that feels like a family, and imparting lifelong lessons in leadership, teamwork, loyalty, and helping others. Our program operates from June to October. During the summer months, kids engage in practices twice a week, where they learn cheers, stunts, jumps, and halftime routines. As football games kick off in end August, they cheer once a week on Saturdays, and practices conclude at that point. |
